Queer. Latine. Proud.

Bachata Sáfica is a vibrant space for queer, trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming individuals to come together and celebrate Latine music, dance, culture, and performances. Since our inaugural event in March 2024 at The Bush in Bushwick, Brooklyn, we have quickly become a monthly tradition, with pop-up events in Harlem, The Bronx, and Washington, D.C.

Bachata, a passionate music and dance style that originated in the Dominican Republic, has captivated dancers and culture-lovers around the globe, and we’re thrilled to share it with our community.
